MIM-104A

The first fielded variant of the MIM-104 was the MIM-104A "Standard". It was optimized solely for engagements against aircraft and had very limited capability against ballistic missiles.

The analog fuze from MIM-104 was replaced by a digital version with the fielding of the MIM-104A

It had a range of 70 km (43 mi), and a speed in excess of Mach 2. It has a mass of 907.2 kg (2,000 lb), length of 5.3 m (17 ft 5 in) and a diameter of 410 mm (16 in) with a wingspan of 870 mm (34 in)
